Ben's Pre Birthday Dinner

Ben's birthday dinner at Crystal Jade Dinning In.
We did not have any plans in mind and everywhere is so crowded, the dinner was actually planned by his godmother.

It's weekend and almost every restaurant we have to queue up for our seats, we decided to eat crystal jade dinning in. I know crystal jade had many outlets like crystal jade palace and many.

Their service are very good.

We did not ordered much but a few dishes.

 

Scallop with asparagus

Salted egg prawns

Meat platter, consist of duck, chicken and pork belly.

 

Their clams are AWESOME! FRESH and not overcooked, cooked with garlic and vermiclla  But it's kind of pricy cost about $18 per pieces.

 

 

The bill came up to $200 for 3 pax.

 

After the dinner we headed over to fruit paradise for desert.

 

 

I still preferred their chocolate banana.

Steamboat for breakfast

When comes to raining, I'll always hope for a steamboat with my friends.
Recently, or rather few months ago found a steamboat place at bukit batok industrial estate. Find it quite good that's why I went back for the 2nd time while ben had been there like 3rd time?

I think it's rather weird to eat steamboat like 4-5pm for our breakfast, super weird timing.

Perhaps the steamboat is opened by some china boss.

No people except their staff.

We came too early and so they prepared the food earlier.

It's like a canteen, they do serve food like mixed rice and ramen to the foreign worker.

I know it's kind of messy.

They have a few soup base like tomyum, chicken broth and pigbone.
I don't really take spicy so I took pig bone soup.

 

I think I kind of waste money because mostly I took are mushrooms and hotdog.
They serve live crabs too.

They used to serve BBQ steamboat too but I think people complaint and they removed and replaced by live crabs.

See! Its just few months ago and everything changes so fast. I miss their BBQ though.

Why why!

Even mookata they also removed the charcoal version.

Jess's Baby Full Month - Home Team Pasi Ris Chalet

Enjoyed being jobless but no spending and earning power but to spend lesser than usual.

There's no perfect job or perfect work.

Headed to jess's baby full month chalet at pasi ris, the journey took us an hour plus to pasi ris.

The place was quite ulu , have to walked a distance from the bus stop.

 

 

Not much people stay though.

 

Their living room is very spacious though.

 

 

 They have at least 3 rooms and enough for the whole families and friend to stay together.
But abit rundown and old.

 Ben trying to switch on the aircon and ended up if you exceed their meter they will charge accordingly, so please use wisely on their electricity. :P

But I think most of the time he's sleeping even we make so much noise.

Ben bought his fishing equipment and now fishing is his new hobby though.

But ended up no fish being caught.

 

TIM HO WAN

Brunch at Tim Ho Wan with Samantha before I start a new job, but the queue is forever long and I don't think ben will want to wait for his food so long.

Went cathay to buy movie ticket.


Look at the queue and crowd, we went on a weekday.

We queued about 1 hour + before getting a seat.
Tell me why so many people at this hour ????

Their menu, we were given a menu before we entered, so we can pre ordered first.

Oops! over ordered.

Mushroom and sausage rice, I find it normal though.

Glutinous rice.

 

I like their carrot cake, very crispy and soft.

 

Prawn chee cheong fen.

Beef chee cheong fen I think this is the dish we did not finished, I don't find it nice at all.

Their signature dish! OMG! This is super nice! Saw a lot of people ordered and tabao back home.

Some spring roll with crabmeat?  Taste not bad.
